Very Satisfied with the Service
Carlene - Galt, CA
This company was very easy to deal with. Friendly on the phone and got an appointment for me within three days. The serviceman that came out, Chris, was very professional and thorough. He inspected and tested the H/C systems and discussed all the results with me in a way I could understand. I also liked that there was no high pressure sales for parts or service that I didn’t need. I would highly recommend Huft Heating and Air.

I am unhappy with the quality that Huft provided during the installation and I pointed it out to Chris. He said he would address my concerns and took pictures. If he follows through with that and is able to get my concerns addressed I will be grateful. He was very polite and professional.

The Huft repairman did a great job of explaining the issues and throughly inspecting things. He also provided photos of the damage and work needed.

Our 8 year old Amana furnace wouldn’t start. Austin our Huft tech found the gas valve wouldn’t open and ordered a new one. After a mix up in parts shipping left us down over a week Austin finally returned with the valve. When he was about to install the new one he found a condensation drain tube was the culprit not allowing the sensor to open the original gas valve. He fixed that and the unit started up. Because of the delay and mix up Austin waved all our repair fees. That seemed to me to be a very honest and upfront compensation for the repair and delays. Thank you, much appreciated
Great service

Upon arrival system not operational. Control board showing error for internal control fault. Reset power to unit. Cycled several times. System is intermittently operational. Operational upon departure. Also noticed thermal stress throughout heat exchanger. Contactor is burnt and pitted. 21 yr old carrier g/e package unit on the roof. R-22 refrigerant. Recommend replacing hvac due to age/reliability, operating condition/cost of repairs, efficiency and r22 phaseout.

Performed heater tune up. Filter recently changed, temp rise is within specs, amp draws are within specs. Cleaned flame sensor and burners, hot surface igniter is reading 187 ohms, adjusted gas pressures to 3.5 inWC. Flushed drain line, tightened and checked all wires, system is operational at this time. Recommend: Upgrade system for efficiency. Maintain maintenance. Surge protector. Hot surface igniter. Primary control board.
