Upon arrival system was operational. Homeowner explained that the thermostat would randomly lose power from time to time. Checked low voltage connections at thermostat and at system as well as high voltage connections at system. All connections are tight with no evidence of a short. Replaced eco bee thermostat with a Honeywell 9000 thermostat under warranty. Homeowner also was wondering if an air filter was supposed to be in the Return because we didn’t install 1. System is on the roof and doesn’t have a merv cabinet. Per Matt I went to Home Depot and got them a filter. Finally homeowner wasn’t happy with the job we did installing the new registers. Sent pictures to install so that they can come out and fix them. Homeowners are VERY happy now. System is operational and heating at this time. No charge for visit

Performed diagnostic. Found tstat properly calling for heat. Inducer motor runs properly and pressure switches close. Found control board sending proper voltage to igniter but igniter has failed. Replace Hot surface igniter which has failed, receiving proper voltage but not lighting up. Ran and tested heat cycle. System operational.
Replaced limit switch and rollout switch but it was still tripping. Static pressure was good, duct work ok. Removed Knox rods and ran system for 15 mins, system did not trip, system is now operating properly at this time.
System operational upon arrival. Tstat properly calls for heat. Inducer motor operational, at max amps .6/.6fla. Blower motor operational, run capacitor tests at 7% tolerance loss suggested replacing. Cleaned heavily oxidated ignition components causing system to short cycle, flame sensor has dead spot, cleaned burners, orfices and flame sensor. Suggested routine cleaning through club program. System operational. Informed clients 90% condensating furnaces located in attic should have emergency drain pan where this one does not. Routine cleaning through club program
Upon arrival, unit turned on but turned off after a few minutes, went to unit and board was giving code that limit switch was open, diagnosed limit switch was stuck open. Replacing under warranty, ordered part and shipping to our warehouse.
Performed diagnostic. System operational upon arrival. Performed safety inspection, no gas leaks, checked electrical connections, heat exchanger shows wear on all cells but no visible breaks. Cleaned dirty ignition components, flame sensor had dead spot, cleaned to where it was properly sensing flames. Blower motor operational, run capacitor tests below spec, suggested replacing. Hot surface igniter ohms out of spec at 102, suggested replacing. Ran and tested heat cycle and could not duplicate issue. Informed clients potential where primary control board is intermittently failing. System operational at this time. Suggested routine cleaning through club program.
