**Signed up on Superhero club membership today and performed first visit Heating maintenance on a Payne Heatpump package system. Tenant provided incorrect filter sizes, modified filters today for proper fit and quoted tenant for 25x30x1 next filter change out. Model and serial number were unavailable due to sun damage on data plate. Condenser grill was left off due to after market fan motor shaft were too long for grill to be installed. Contactor has pitted marks, compressor capacitor were below spec, blower motor pulling high amps, and Fan motor has oil residue. System is currently operational at this time but should look into new system options due to current conditions of the system and older refrigerant that are phased out.

Performed heater maintenance. Temp rise is within specs, changed filter, amp draws are within specs. Cleaned flame sensor and burners. Gas pressures are within specs. Tightened and checked all wires. Flushed drain line. System is operational at this time.

Completed and emailed options to customer to review and compare with others quotes. Customer not happy that i quoted a 3.ton vs 4.ton like everyone else, upstairs ducting its only 700 CFM.

Permit corrections Added grounding wire to junction box on roof Added screws to seismic straps on side of curb to unit Re-painted gas line and condensate line on roof. Customer would like us to schedule re-inspection and, per Matt, provide person to wait for inspector. Customer also expressed concern over temp of certain rooms, says it’s the same issue the previous unit had and that it had cooled those rooms better than before. Just not as good as she had hoped. I don’t recall this attic being very accessible at all.

Performed annual heating inspection and tune up on Lennox split system. System is operating properly at this time. Today is the last visit. Spoke with customer about club memberships.

Performed a diagnostic on a Lennox system. Found bad blower motor and module. Gave homeowner repair vs replacement options. Homeowner will talk it over with his wife over the weekend and will call us on Monday with their decision.

Customer request high flow register be installed in front living room installed new register verified proper operation of register louvers As per customer request documented video and pictures of ductwork in attic also added insulation to supply box While inspecting ductwork in attic found B vent did not have the proper clearance to be able to meet code standards was able to make modifications to achieve a 2 inch clearance in all directions around B vent Went over breakdown of each component purchased with new installed system informed customer that the $207 for return duct installation that was not performed will be refunded and is in the mail currently January 7, 2021. Permit corrections. Re-routed and strapped flue to ensure 1†clearance at rafter. Added straps. Strapped up supply plenum on both sides. Sealed collar on back side of plenum that had not been sealed. Strapped lineset back from furnace toward outside. Re-routed gas line and trap and flex to create clearance in front of furnace. Cut access in platform to leak check gas line fittings under platform, capped those off. Altered return air grill anchors to allow installation of new filter. Sealed all ‘holes’ found on top of furnace.
